Facing shadowsMost of my memories were left to fade. As i start to forget them my shadow slips in to remjnd me. This darkened silhoette that i can never loose always watches and listens. I want to forget so much but he won't let me. I try to sit in peace and he slithers up and whispers in my ear. I am constantly reminded of my dark past and the darkest part of me takes hold again. I can fight it all i want but it never stops. I can supress it but it just re-surfaces. It feels like sinking in tar as it surrounds me tries to drown me in my own darkness.
